KodeKid is a one-person studio. The same person designs the thing, writes the front-end, builds the backend and pushes it live — so there is no handover between design and engineering, and nothing gets lost in one.
That suits a particular kind of work: products small enough that one person can hold the whole thing in their head, and ambitious enough that they have to actually ship. A landing page carried by scroll-driven motion. A product with accounts, payments and a self-service backend behind it. Usually both, because the marketing site and the product tend to be the same problem.
The work on this site is live. Every case study links to something running in production, not a mockup.
Behind it is Lars Sohl — the visual work, and more about the person, is at larssohl.dk.
